The
Band
Muma Gee is
the founder and leader of the Black Attraction Band
of Africa – a band of tested and carefully
selected young artistes who are currently the toast
and cynosure of all eyes at the top social function
and concerts in Nigeria and Abroad.
Songs
Muma Gee sings in the three main Nigeria languages – Hausa,
Yoruba and Ibo.
She also sings in Ekpeye, her native dialect and
English language. The lyrics of her songs mostly
dwell on peace, love and harmony: Her vocal prowess
is not only melodious, alluring and inviting.
Best Loved Instruments
She loves and plays her traditional instrument known
as Obo, which is similar to xylophone but traditionally
made portable with calabash and other stuffs. She
considers the Percussion and Wind Instruments her
best because they are part of the soil, which the
African Music is deeply rooted.
