Muma Gee is
a prodigious artiste with a knack for the genuine
and the resplendent – a
distinct knack for the uncommon in the common and
for the sizzler in the despised.
Her musical art
reflects a vision of a continent at the apex of her
search for permanent place of solace from all her
decades of wandering in the wilderness, in pain and
hopelessness. Her art encapsulates a mission of restoration
of the traduced and lampooned African values and
lost heritage.

hears her music and watches her perform on stage
regards her as an Ambassador of African music. She
plays a blend of modern African traditional Jazz.

She started out as an innocent kid-singer in a church
choir.
Muma grew up to become a twinkle little star
in her secondary school’s social circle. She
graduated to mastering the rudiments of musicianship
as a female back-up vocalist to top-rated Nigerian
artistes. Muma Gee is no douth sufficiently equipped
to climb to the very top of the world music chart.
